Problem

How would you sell a collection of shade products to homeowners? That is exactly what our client came to us and asked. They recently acquired the Allure brand of products by Lafayette and needed to rethink how to package the product in order to start selling “shade” to interior designers and exterior awning dealers.

Solution

With a lot of research we began to design a sample swatch book to showcase all of the 93 shades. After categorizing them into four distinct characteristics (transitional, decorative, filtered and blackout), we derived to the identity Shade Inspiration Collection. The design followed the photography. Each section contains informative cards describing the product categories and labeled swatch packets that easily identified individual color and pattern.

Impression

The client and dealers alike greatly enjoyed having new products to sell with easy-to-use sample books that would attract customers.
